Stars Endorsing Cigarettes

Hard to believe today but smoking was not only considered glamorous back in the day but also healthy.  Yes, that's right.  Inhaling carbon dioxide was at one time promoted by the cigarette companies (imagine that) to improve your dental health, your mental and emotional well-being, your sex quotient and for weight loss.

All of these were definitely motives for the celebrities; looking elegant and charming while collecting a paycheck were bonuses.
